Project Impacts

Results and recommendations from this research will be shared with coastal restoration practitioners, including state and federal agencies, non-project conservation organizations, and private corporations and landowners. A series of guidelines or best management practices relative to the various objectives for which marsh terracing is implemented will be developed into communication materials for dissemination to the coastal restoration community. We will use additional outlets to further communicate the results of this project, including but not limited to Ducks Unlimited magazine, Ducks Unlimited podcast, press releases, discussions at Gulf Coast Joint Venture Initiative Team meetings, web pages, social media, coastal restoration conferences, and others that may become available.
