Madsen Receives Award from APMS
July 31, 2013Recently at the Aquatic Plant Management Society (APMS) annual meeting in San Antonio, TX, Dr. John Madsen was awarded the T. Wayne Miller Jr. Distinguished Service Award. The citation reads as follows: " For over twenty-five years of professional and personal dedication to the Society and as a premier leader in the field of aquatic plant science and management."
Madsen is also on the APMS Board of Directors.
The APMS is an international organization of scientists, educators, students, commercial pesticide applicators, administrators, and concerned individuals interested in the management and study of aquatic plants. The membership reflects a diversity of federal, state, and local agencies, universities and colleges around the world, corporations, and small businesses.
