GRI Professor Named Researcher of the Month

Dr. Bill Cooke has been named the College of Arts & Sciences Researcher of the Month for September, 2010.

Cooke joined the faculty at Mississippi State in January 2003 following six years as a research scientist with the U.S. Forest Service. He has a joint appointment in the Department of Geosciences, where he is an associate professor and as a research fellow with the Geosystems Research Institute. He has received grants for research from NASA, Department of Homeland Security, National Institutes of Health, and the U.S. Forest Service.
