Business leaders must be educated on the importance of geospatial technology as a component of an overall business model, and that Mississippi is a leader in providing geospatial technology resources.

Business needs to take a proactive approach to implementing geospatial technology, or else risk losing competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Delivery of information that is designed to educate business leaders is the goal of a series of videos maintained on the GRI website. Companies that have 'success stories' to tell about geospatial solutions are featured in a 20 minute video. Geospatial personnel, computer, and application resources are featured in a series of short video presentations. A selection of interviews from various MSU researchers is provided to inform you of how geospatial technologies are enhancing and improving their research. Click on each name below to view the videotaped interview and hear each scientist's comments.

Mississippi's future economic development potential will be enhanced by 'getting the word out' that Mississippi is the place to go to enhance the competitiveness of existing Mississippi businesses, or when courting new businesses that are interested in coming to Mississippi.
