- Creating Annotation from Labels Tutorial (~658K) Data (~64K)
- This tutorial explores label functionality, converting labels to an annotation feature class, and using the annotation toolbar to manipulate annotations. In this tutorial, you will create a map displaying road centerlines overlaid on some high resolution aerial imagery. Label features will be added to the roads as descriptive text, exploring label options as you proceed. The process of converting labels to an annotation feature class will be discussed. The principles and methods described in this tutorial can easily be applied to other map layers to create customized maps.
