The 2008 WSSA annual meeting will be held February 4 - 7 at the Hilton Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. Jeff Derr, Program Chair, and the Program Committee have developed an excellent program for members and guests. The scientific program will feature special topic symposia and poster and oral paper presentations on the latest weed science research. Aaron Hager, chair, and the local arrangements committee have organized a special pre-meeting tour of the Chicago Botanic Gardens for Sunday. In addition, Lori Wiles and David Shaw will offer a GIS workshop on Monday. The General Session Monday afternoon will feature Mr. Orion Samuelson, Agribusiness Director for WGN Radio, as the keynote speaker.
