Floods, droughts, hurricanes, sabotage, toxic spills, mechanical breakdowns and other hazards pose similar policy, management, scientific, and technical challenges for water resource systems. Moreover, theses challenges are increasing.

The Universities Council on Water Resources and the National Institutes for Water Resources invite you to the dynamic and growing Rocky Mountain city of Boise, Idaho to participate in an exchange of research, education, policy analysis, and management experience in undestanding, preparing for, and mitigating the consequences of water resources hazards.
