GRI - Campus
The GeoResources Institute is located in the Thad Cochran Research and Technology Park in
Starkville, Mississippi, adjacent to the main campus of Mississippi State University.
The GRI is based in the High Performance Computing Collaboratory's (HPC2) building.
Mississippi State University's GeoResources Institute (GRI) includes its operations at
NASA's John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC),
near the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Already recognized as a major
center for research in oceanography and meteorology, the GRI-Stennis operation also provides
software engineering, computer modeling, and applications development services in resource
management, air and water quality, remote sensing, visualization of large datasets, and
other disciplines relating to geospatial and computer sciences.
